Hi, I am Connor! I am currently in my second year at Imperial College London, studying Mechanical Engineering. I have always enjoyed mathematics and problem-solving, and I am passionate about helping students develop their understanding and confidence in these subjects. At A Level, I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, achieving an A* in each subject. This has given me a strong academic foundation, as well as experience with the challenging concepts and problem-solving techniques required to excel in these subjects. I have previous experience tutoring GCSE Maths, both during sixth form and alongside my studies at university. During this time, I have helped a number of students make significant improvements in their grades, with many progressing from a Grade 4 to a Grade 7 in approximately three months. I aim to make lessons engaging and approachable, adapting my teaching to each student's individual needs and identifying areas where they can improve, while always focusing on repetitive subject practice questions to constantly reinforce a students ability to answer an exam question. I believe that effective tutoring is not just about teaching the content, but also about building a student's confidence and helping them develop the skills to tackle unfamiliar problems independently. Whether a student is looking to improve their grades, strengthen their understanding of key topics, or prepare for upcoming exams, I am committed to helping them achieve their goals.
