I am a Sport and Exercise Physiologist, elite distance running coach, and former international professional athlete with over 10 years of experience competing at the highest level. I hold a PhD in Sport and Exercise Physiology from the Department of Physical Education and Sport, Faculty of Health Sciences, Gazi University. My doctoral research focused on comparing the physical and physiological characteristics of Ethiopian and Turkish elite distance runners, providing me with a deep understanding of endurance performance and sports science. As a professional athlete, I competed in events ranging from the 3,000 metres to the marathon. Between 2019 and 2022, I was recognised as a World Athletics Silver Level Athlete. Throughout my career, I became a multiple-time Turkish Champion in track, cross-country, and road racing, and competed in major international events including the Berlin Marathon, Barcelona Marathon, and Istanbul Vodafone Marathon. I have also won multiple half-marathon and marathon races. Alongside my competitive career, I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals. I hold a World Athletics Level 2 Coaching Certificate and a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification from Capital City College (2026). My coaching combines scientific knowledge with practical experience to help athletes and fitness enthusiasts improve performance, fitness, endurance, and confidence. Whether you are preparing for your first race, aiming for a personal best, or seeking to understand the science behind sport and exercise, I provide personalised, evidence-based coaching tailored to your individual needs. I am committed to helping every student reach their full potential through professional guidance, motivation, and proven training methods.
