I’m a Mathematics graduate from Royal Holloway, University of London, with A*AA at A-Level in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics. I have a strong academic background in Maths and Further Maths, with a particular focus on clear logical thinking, problem-solving and exam technique. My teaching style is calm, patient and easy to understand. I focus on breaking difficult topics down into simple steps, so students can actually understand what they are doing rather than just memorising methods. I’m good at identifying where a student is struggling and explaining the same idea in a clearer, more approachable way. I can help with GCSE, A-Level Maths and Further Maths, including algebra, calculus, statistics, mechanics, pure maths and exam preparation. I also write code in my free time, which has strengthened my structured thinking and problem-solving skills. My goal is to help students improve their grades quickly while also making maths feel less stressful and more enjoyable. With the right approach, maths becomes much easier to understand, and I aim to make every lesson clear, relaxed and genuinely useful.

“I started lessons with Marwan because I kept losing marks on calculus and mechanics questions, even when I thought I understood the topic. He was really good at showing me exactly where my working was going wrong and how to structure my answers properly for exams. His explanations were clear without being overcomplicated, and he made the lessons feel relaxed rather than stressful. After a few weeks I felt much more confident attempting harder questions on my own.”

“Marwan started tutoring my daughter when she had completely lost confidence in maths and would avoid even starting her homework. He was very patient with her, but also knew when to challenge her so she didn’t stay stuck on the easy questions. What I liked most was that he didn’t just tell her what to write, he made sure she understood why each step made sense. Over time she became much more willing to try questions on her own, especially the longer exam-style ones she used to panic over.”
